Our unique distilled alcoholic beverages from Olgar are created from fresh, pure fruits, without chemicals, preservatives, dyes, flavors, flavor enhancers, and yeast. These beverages are known worldwide under different names: Eau_de_vie (France), schnapps (Germany), grappa (Italy), țuică (Romania), slivovitz (Hungary), horilka (Ukraine), samogon (Russian), rakia (Bulgaria) and others, depending on the country of origin.
The production process of our Eau_de_vie begins with fresh fruits delivered directly from farmers from the Galilee or the Golan Heights being crushed, pressed, and placed for fermentation in oak barrels. Without the addition of yeast, this process lasts from one month in summer to three months in winter.
After the completion of the first fermentation, the mixture is distilled in huge containers. As a result of boiling, vapors are produced which condense into droplets of alcohol. These droplets are collected into a liquid, which after distillation is aged in the barrel for another one or two months.
Then the mixture undergoes a second distillation to purify the alcohol from toxins. The resulting basic distillate is diluted with mineral water using the osmosis method to bring the drink's strength to 38-45% alcohol.
